Inauguration

Last Friday we had the inauguration of our new facility. It is not finished, but with the roof on, cement on the floor and lighting, it was good enough to use. Some of the staff planned a sort of harvest festival kind of party where we sold food in order to raise some funds to help us finish the building. It was a lot of fun. We had many people from outside come. Just from our church we had about 20 young people, plus our pastor and his wife. We had a total of about 300 people.

My parents also participated with us and had a lot of fun.
There was a make believe jail that people could pay to have someone put in and then we had to pay 50 cents ti get out.

There was also a make believe wedding that was really funny.
The next evening was the DTS graduation. It was also in the new facility and turned out wonderfully.
I hope to be able to put some pictures of the graduation on here soon.

June already!

Since we live on a farm I am happy to be able to enjoy some time in my garden every once in a while. I have successfully been able to cultivate some different types of plants. The pictures below is just a small sample of some of the plants I have growing right now.

Lucas is already learning to help me out by watering and occasionally uprooting some plants, but that's ok. It's fun to watch him learn to take care of God's creation.
Lucas already has many special friends. Here he is playing with Isaac and Ana Julia

Ready to fix something with my handy tools!

And for those of you who would like to see how the construction of our new facility is coming along, here are some of the latest pictures:
